Frequently Asked Questions

  • Before booking, I always have a virtual call with potential clients. Once the contract & invoice are completed, we will have 3 official meeting points; your engagement session, a coffee chat in your wedding year, a timeline planning call and then the wedding day. These meetings help to build our relationship & make you more relaxed on the big day.

  • That depends on the travel, my packages do include travel for most of Colorado. If your location is within that travel boundary then you’re all good. For all destinations outside of that, couples may pay for round-trip flights, a minimum 2-night stay at or near the venue and any other travel needs (i.e rental car, train travel, shuttle travel etc.).

  • Wedding galleries will be delivered approximately 8-12 weeks after the wedding day.

    Engagement sessions will be delivered approximately 3 weeks after the session. Turnaround time does vary depending on the busy season (mostly in the summer) but I will always do my best to deliver within these times!

  • Wedding day packages range from 8 hours and 10 hours. I highly recommend the 10 hour package, the extra time helps to make the day more relaxed and feel less like you are just moving through a schedule. You’ll have more time to just enjoy your day as it unfolds!

  • Yes! Two hands are better than one, all of my traditional wedding day packages include a second photographer.

  • No, your gallery will be a curated, edited and finalized collection of your wedding day photos. I spend hours combing through every photo taken on your wedding day (usually close to 7,000 or more cause I’m crazy..) and select the best ones to edit & perfect for you specifically, a lot of love goes into capturing your story!

  • Never more than one in a day, I focus solely on you on your wedding day! I do occasionally book more than one on a weekend but I always make sure it’s reasonable.

  • I customize soft cover albums for each of my couples. Part of that customization includes more than just your photos. Couples have included copies or speeches, their vows, bible verses, song lyrics and more.

  • Once your digital gallery is delivered, we will start the process of creating your album. I would say it’s pretty standard to receive your album 4 weeks after your gallery is delivered.

  • My photographic style can be described as a mix of editorial & candid moments. My editing style is true-to-life with full and bright colors.

  • Most of my wedding day packages include an engagement session, wedding day photography, travel for most of Colorado, a curated digital gallery of your photos, a custom wedding book and a second photographer.

  • Yes of course! All of my wedding packages (with the exception of micro weddings) include the engagement session with your chosen package. I do also offer stand-alone engagement & couple sessions, just contact me for more info!

  • As much as I can, yes. I am the primary photographer of Roaming Photo and will always make my best effort to be the present photographer at your wedding day. Should an act of god prevent me from making that happen, we will go with one of two options. One, I will hire a trusted associate photographer that I have worked with before to be the present photographer at your wedding, they will then share all of the RAW images with me and I will edit/finalize the gallery from there. Two, I am happy to provide a partial refund (subtracting the non-refundable retainer paid at booking) for you to put towards another option.

  • Yes I do & happy to provide proof of insurance when requested.

  • Yes & no. I am happy to check out inspiration photos that you’ve seen and collected, typically I have my couples send over their wedding Pinterest board so I can check it out and get a vibe for what you are envisioning. However, the only “list” I use on the day-of is the family photo list, everything else we let happen naturally.

  • I require a 25% non-refundable retainer at booking. This payment secures your date in my books and covers pre-wedding day services. Payment schedules can be either 2 payments (25% and 75%) or 4 payments (25% each). All payments are processed via the client portal with no service or card fees!

  • I prefer to, however I am happy to discuss this more and will respect your choice if you decide you don’t want your images shared!

  • Yes I do. Of course, you are more than welcome to print, share, and utilize your photos for personal use as much as you’d like!

  • I do minor adjustments and corrective services but passed that we love natural beauty around here!
